Collector's Coins

Hmm. Collector's Coins? Just what are these? Back in the days of GameFAQs, when the Pikmin 2 board hadn't suffered its hurricane, there was a productive member named Max123. There were others too, but Max123 had an idea: he'd give a collector's coin to anyone who caught his intentional typos in his posts.

I've decided to do something similar. If you catch a typo of a name of a character, I will send you a collector's coin with the name of that character. Then I shall fix the typo sometime later. Between the time that the typo exists and that I fix it, anyone can get a collector's coin. Well, within limits. If thirty people catch the typo, then the first ten people will get a collector's coin, and that particular issue of a collector's coin will be retired. The tyops are not intentional, so this is more or less a reward system for finding character typos.

  • Rules
    • The typos must be of a proper noun related to a fandom. Example: Catching a mispelling of 'Pokemon' will get you a collector's coin. Catching a mispelling of 'like' won't, but it would help if you told me anyway.
    • First ten people to catch the typo between the time it is uploaded and the time it is fixed will get the coin. After that, that particular issue of the coin will be retired. Example: The first ten people to catch 'Weedlw' get a coin, and after that I will stop making 'Weedlw' coins. However, if another Weedle typo shows up on another page, and you report it, you will still get a coin - it will just be different.
    • Don't cheat. Please?
    • Yes, this applies to every fandom/series. From Pokemon to EarthBound to Paper Mario and beyond.
