MOTHER 3
: Ah, MOTHER 3. Certain fans of this series will tell you how they've loyally waited ten years to play this game and waited two more to play it in English. Hmm. Well, this is the game about which I am writing. Have funa dn stuff. There aren't really any spoilerific things here so far.
Sound Battles: This is also known as 'comboing': this section describes the process of pressing the A or L button in rhythm to the music to gain extra hits. I know I had trouble with it, so I hope this section is helpful. It also discusses why sound battles are much harder to do on an emulator (sorry folks :( ).
Sound Player: There's an option to listen to the 200+ tracks in the game, and this page gives you recommendations and some neat tricks (particularly useful if you are playing the game in Japanese).
MOTHER 3i: This is a review of one of the MOTHER 3 soundtracks released through iTunes. Take a look and see what I think. The best track is not yet available for download.
With Magypsy: There's a bit of wordplay, symbolism, and funny stuff involved with the Magypsies that is well-known, but it's hard to find it all put together. This article collects that stuff and neatly puts it all together.
A Hairy Mystery: Lucas and Claus are twins, yet they have different hair color. Why? This article shows you how to take video games too seriously ;-).
